Paeonia 'Black Beauty' is a herbaceous Peony nearly black flowering cultivar. It is a shrubby plant that each year will typically grow to 3' tall by mid-Spring. Black Beauty displays attractive glossy foliage throughout the Summer and early Fall, then it dies to the ground after frost. This black Paeonia is an old standard that features very large, very fragrant, nearly black/dark red double flowers. Excellent cut flower, attracts butterflies.
