Though smaller in size, their intensely colored flowers and vigorous naturalizing habit make these bulbs a must for American gardens. Plant 7-9 per sq. ft to make a splash in your garden the first year. These are tiny bulbs, but be sure to plant deeply 3-4 inch to encourage best flowering as they spread. All wild flower tulips are sized 5-6 cm. and are commercially propagated in Holland. Best planted in compost enriched garden loam.
