This stunning hybrid group was first introduced in 1943 by crossing the red Fosteriana tulip with the Darwin tulips. The result is a group of vigorous hybrids that are reliably perennial and prized for their huge, brightly colored flowers on tall, sturdy stems. Be sure to plant the bulbs at a depth of 6-8 inches to keep them growing year after year. Prefers compost enriched garden loam.
